WHICH TYPES OF VEHICLES DOES NEWPORT LIMOS HAVE AFFILIATIONS WITH?

Our affiliated fleet includes late model 4-door sedans, both elegant and luxurious, as well as spacious minivans, SUVs, stretch limousines, and larger passenger vans, sprinters, and buses available in various sizes.

WHAT IS THE SEATING AND LUGGAGE CAPACITY OF A SEDAN?

A typical sedan can accommodate up to 4 passengers, with comfortable seating for 3 individuals. As for luggage, the trunk of a sedan can accommodate 2 standard-sized suitcases.

IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR LUGGAGE?

If the luggage can fit in the trunk of the vehicle, there will be no additional charge. However, if any luggage piece needs to be placed inside the vehicle, such as a carry-on, suitcase, duffle bag, or box, there will be an extra charge of $10.00 per piece.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE MORE THAN 3 PASSENGERS OR MORE THAN 3 PIECES OF LUGGAGE?

If all the luggage pieces are large in size, then you will require either a minivan or an SUV

I WILL BE TRAVELING WITH MY PET. WHAT TYPE OF VEHICLE CAN I RESERVE?

The type of vehicle you can reserve will depend on the size of your pet. If you have a small pet, a regular sedan or midsize SUV can accommodate them. However, if you have a larger pet, a bigger vehicle will be necessary. It is important to inform us during the booking process as not all drivers can provide this service.

IS IT NECESSARY FOR ME TO BRING A CAR SEAT FOR MY CHILD?

For children under the age of 8, it is a legal requirement to have them in a car seat. Passengers have the option to either provide their own car seats or request Newport Limos to provide them, subject to an additional charge.

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR MY CHILDREN TO TRAVEL ALONE?

An adult must accompany passengers under the age of 18 years. A driver reserves the right to ask for ID for proof of age.

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED AMOUNT FOR TIPPING?

The industry standard for tipping ranges from 15% to 20%, but the final decision on the amount is entirely up to you.

WHAT ARE THE TOLLS TO THE AIRPORTS?

Not all trips to and from the airports will incur toll charges. In Manhattan, if there is a toll for a trip to or from JFK or LGA airports, it is typically around $10.17. For trips to or from EWR (Newark Airport), tolls start from $21.80. Toll charges are applicable for each leg of roundtrip reservations. If the driver needs to take a toll to return to the city, an additional charge will apply. Please note that the driver retains the right to choose the optimal route based on traffic and weather conditions.

Certainly! If you intend to pay for the trip using your credit card in the car, it is necessary to bring the card with you and present it to the driver for processing at the end of the trip. However, if you provide credit card information along with your ID details during the reservation process, there is no need to physically present the card.

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO USE MY CREDIT CARD TO PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE?

Absolutely! We provide a convenient pre-paid option that allows for third-party payments. When making your reservation, simply enter your credit card number in the payment section and select the “All Inclusive” option to pre-pay for the ride on behalf of your guest.

FOR STOPS ALONG THE WAY TO YOUR DESTINATION, WHAT IS THE COST ASSOCIATED WITH THEM?

To determine the cost of stops along your route, please contact us via phone, email, or text. The pricing can vary depending on the nature of the stop.

I HAVE SKIS, SNOWBOARDS, AND GOLF CLUBS. WHAT VEHICLE SHOULD I RESERVE?

If you plan to travel with a surfboard, skis, or golf clubs, you can conveniently reserve a minivan, large passenger van, or SUV online.

HOW DO I GET A RECEIPT IF I FORGOT TO GET ONE?

If you forgot to get a receipt, you can request one by reaching out to our customer support team via phone, email, or through our website.

WHAT IF I LOST SOMETHING IN A NEWPORT AFFLIATED CAR?

Please contact our office, and we will promptly check with the driver and relevant departments to assist you in locating your lost item. However, please note that we cannot be held responsible for any belongings left behind. We will make every effort to find your item, and if it is recovered, we will contact you to arrange for its return. Alternatively, we can arrange for the item to be delivered to you, but please be aware that there may be associated costs depending on the distance traveled.

IF I HAPPEN TO BE RUNNING LATE FOR MY PICKUP, WILL THERE BE ANY CHARGES FOR WAITING TIME?

Newport offers a complimentary grace period of 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. However, if the delay exceeds 15 minutes, Newport will apply charges for the entire duration of the delay. Here are a couple of examples for clarification:

  • Example 1: If the pickup time is 10 AM and the passenger arrives at 10:10 AM, no waiting time charges will be applied.
  • Example 2: If the pickup time is 10 AM and the passenger arrives at 10:15 AM, a waiting time charge of 15 minutes will be incurred. The waiting time fee is calculated based on a pro-rated hourly rate, varying according to the car class.
